AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF BOULDER PROPERTY TAX MILL LEVIES FOR 2027; PROVIDING THAT SAID LEVY BE CERTIFIED TO THE BOULDER COUNTY ASSESSOR; AND SETTING FORTH RELATED DETAILS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOULDER, COLORADO:

Section 1. In accordance with Section 94 of the Boulder Home Rule Charter, there is

hereby levied for year 2026 to be collected in 2027 a tax of 11.648 mills upon each dollar of the

total assessed valuation of all taxable property within the city of Boulder, Colorado. The levy includes the following components:

Section 2. This Ordinance is necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the city, and covers matters of local concern. Section 3. Pursuant to Section 18 of the Boulder Home Rule Charter, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon publication after final passage.

Section 4. The City Council deems it appropriate that this Ordinance be published by title

only and orders that copies of this Ordinance be made available in the office of the city clerk for

public inspection and acquisition.
