Boulder Arts Week April 3–12, 2026 Boulder Arts Week continues to be the city's premier celebration of our community's artists and vibrant arts and cultural offerings. Now in its twelfth year, Boulder Arts Week 2026 will feature performances, exhibitions, and creative experiences from musicians, dancers, actors, authors, and artists of all media, with events in every Boulder neighborhood. Boulder's creative sector is a defining community strength and economic driver. Boulder ranks third in the nation for concentration of artists and among the top 10 most arts-vibrant mid-sized cities in the U.S.—with creative employment three times the national average. Americans for the Arts estimates Boulder's nonprofit arts and culture industry generated $115.1 million in economic activity in 2022, spanning $53.5 million in organizational spending and $61.6 million in audience expenditures. Creativity is core to Boulder’s quality of life and future success. The arts strengthen community identity, drive innovation, enhance well-being, and play a critical role in advancing Boulder's generational goals. This year during Boulder Arts Week, Boulder also launches the Boulder Arts Blueprint, a longterm strategic plan that establishes a framework for how the city will invest in and support its creative community for years to come. For over a decade, Boulder Arts Week has amplified the visibility of the arts and encouraged community members to support and engage with their local creative community. This year, we again invite all community members to participate, celebrate, and champion the arts in Boulder. We, the City Council of the City of Boulder, Colorado declare April 3 to April 12, 2026, as
Boulder Arts Week
