Crest View Elementary School Roof Replacement Link to presentation BACKGROUND The 2022 Facilities Critical Needs Plan outlines a districtwide commitment to maintaining and improving essential building systems and athletic facilities. Through the design process, the project team has determined that the roof at Crest View Elementary School will require additional work beyond the scope and budget identified in the Critical Needs Plan. The Critical Needs Plan identified two roof-related items: renewal of older sealants and renewal of metal gutters on the south sides of the classrooms. The roof was assessed by a third party consultant and the consultant is recommending a full roof replacement as well as replacement of the gutters and associated fascia. REQUEST TO CBOC (RECOMMENDED MOTION):
Move that the Community Bond Oversight Committee recommends the transfer of $875,814 in Bond Premium funds to the Crest View Elementary School budget for expenditures related to roofing and gutter replacement. The request from Bond Premium is based on this being additional scope than what was originally anticipated.
