SCOPE OF NEGOTIATIONS The scope of negotiations with any recognized organization shall be limited to salaries, areas of join interest regarding working conditions, and impasse procedures. All provisions in a negotiated agreement shall be consistent with the School District’s reservation of management rights as set forth in this policy framework or elsewhere, state and federal laws, and any other limitation or directives as determined by the School District. Following the granting of recognition to an organization to represent an employee unit, the Board of Education, through its designated representatives, will meet with the representatives of the organization to negotiate and reach agreements on matters pertaining to salaries, terms and conditions of employment, and processing of alleged grievances, and negotiations and impasse procedures.. It shall be the duty of both parties to negotiate in good faith and in a timely fashion.
