Grad Plus at BVSD
A career or college advantage for every student Boulder Valley School District’s Grad Plus framework was built on the idea that every student should graduate from high school in BVSD with more than a diploma. The framework gives PK–12 students opportunities to develop essential skills, gain meaningful recognition, and explore real-world experiences. By earning college credits, industry certifications, the seal of biliteracy, and work-based learning experiences, students are prepared to confidently pursue their goals and succeed in college, careers, and beyond. The Grad Plus framework supports a variety of career paths, including those that require college and or technical education.
In the spring of 2025, 86% of the graduating class completed one or more Grad Plus quadrant. 725 of those earned industry certifications, 2,089 earned college credit, 300 work-based learning experiences and internships, and 660 Seal of Biliteracy recipients.
College Credit
Of the 2025 graduating class, 79% graduated with three or more college credits. Close to 27% of graduates earned the Seal of Biliteracy in 15 languages with Bosian, Hebrew and Portuguese joining the list last year.
