​FIRE DRILLS​¶​ ​¶​

​In order to teach the proper procedure for evacuating the building, each school in Boulder Valley​ ​School District is required to conduct at least one unannounced fire drill each month. No pupil​ i​s allowed to reenter the building before the proper signal has been given.​¶​ ​¶​ ​Principals shall keep a record of all fire drills held in their schools and shall furnish reports to the​ ​security office at the end of each school year or as may be required at other times by the​ ​Superintendent.​¶​ ​¶​ ​Current practice codified 1978​¶​ ​¶​ ​International Fire Code § 405.2​¶​
