We have Commissioners Stolzman and Levy in the hearing room and Commissioner Lochimin is excused. We're here for our business meeting and the first item on our agenda is our consent agenda and that is 4A through I may have a motion move approval second all in favor aye and we have one discussion item to take up this morning and this is appointments to the gun barrel Public Improvement District. Good morning Good morning madam chair Commissioners Robin Valdez with the Commissioner's office agenda 5A item before you are the gum barrel Public Improvement District Advisory Committee for appointments. We have seven vacancies on this board and we had 20 applicants and the old for member at large the applicants were Dynamake Tom Coon Matthew Richie Crow Marty Shrime Donna George Michelle Basile Charles Robertson Peter Wells Julie Causa Chuck Weebie Mike Smith Mark Young Robert O'Day William Hamill Ronald Pochotsky Cindercraft Rolf Munson Jeffrey Anderson Jason Yeker. And the recommendations that were forwarded to me for your consideration are for Donna George Michelle Basil Charles Robertson Julia Casa. Chuck Weebie Robert O'Day William Hamill and just wanted to highlight that Madam Cocha had the opportunity to

0:02:23interview all applicants I don't know if you had any comments, but I wanted to provide that opportunity for you Thank you so much. Yeah, I just wanted to say the applicants were phenomenal There were so many people and so invested I'm sure they'll participate in the meetings and they'll be really wonderful a lot of great ideas and dedication And so it's a mix of folks that are newer in the area and have been in the area for a long time. And I think it's going to be a fantastic board and just really appreciate everybody who came out for it and it was really tricky in the interviews because there were such qualified wonderful applicants and so much interest. Well, that's great. Did you actually interview all 20 of them? So there were two that Robin and Gustavo did that were videoed Because of conflict and then I did the rest Thank you Yeah, no and the people are so dedicated actually has also really helped me with my forming my perspectives on the comprehensive plan Um, just because having like 20 interviews getting detailed information from community members in gun barrel was really helpful Yeah, I bet I bet so I just I just had one question about Chuck Wibby because it's my understanding from conversations with him a number of years ago that he

0:03:47was really spending most of his time out of state And I you know that's not disqualifying but did that come up that didn't come up. He was really a very strong candidate his father I think is what he said had been on the original GPID and so like the perspective that he was bringing was really detailed there and then he had previously served on a subcommittee Um, that Barb in our office Uh, was the stafflies onto and really contributed highly to that it was like a paving subcommittee that had looked at some different efforts So that came up, but nothing about he mentioned he lives in gun barrel and the length of time he had been there So he didn't mention he was traveling out of state Okay, I mean he is a long - standing community member very active and my conversations with him came up in the context of trying to figure out if there's a path forward on subdivision paving So I just didn't know how much time he was actually spending in state So well I having not interviewed end of being very appreciative of both your work Robin and your work Commissioner Stolzman I'm happy to accept that recommendation So I think we can have a motion at this time I move approval of the recommendation. Good morning Commissioners Natalie Spring at Commissioners Deputy for the record I'm here to confirm that the Executive session topics that were noticed at the May 5th 2026 regular business meeting of the board We're discussed as scheduled and this is simply a note for the record Um, so I'm happy to move us to item 7 Um, and Commissioners, we do not have any topics for Executive session this week So I won't be requesting authorization.
