RESOLUTION 1377 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE FIRM OF WEAVER AND TIDWELL L.L.P. TO EXAMINE THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF BOULDER FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2025; AND SETTING FORTH RELATED DETAILS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOULDER, COLORADO, HEREBY FINDS AND RECITES THAT: A.

WHEREAS, Sections 12 and 105 of the City Charter and Section 2-2-7, B.R.C. 1981,

require the City Council, by resolution, to appoint an auditor, who is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in the State of Colorado and is well informed regarding governmental accounting and auditing; and B.

WHEREAS, the auditor is required to make a thorough and complete examination and

audit of all the financial accounts of the city, make complete reports in writing covering such examination and audit, and make recommendations regarding the results of that examination; and C.

WHEREAS, the City Council Audit Committee has recommended the firm Weaver and

Tidwell L.L.P.

FINDINGS

MADE

THIS

RESOLUTION, ABOVE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOULDER, COLORADO, THAT: 1.

The Boulder City Council hereby appoints the firm Weaver and Tidwell L.L.P. to perform the annual audit of the city records for the 2025 fiscal year.
