Summary ●

Enrollment declined by -525/-1.9% over last year; 2nd greatest loss since pandemic.

●

All levels saw declines in 2025, however kindergarten (1,626) was the largest since 2022.

●

Previous student gains at middle school didn’t occur in 2025; may indicate students are no longer re-entering the system in significant numbers after the pandemic.

●

Out of District contributions to enrollment in 2025 were higher than last year’s historic high.

●

Boulder largely driving enrollment declines in 2025, but Lafayette/Erie also showed declines despite new housing.

●

Births showing signs of leveling after a period of steep declines in Boulder.

●

Resident student “net migration” faltering in 2025. 14
